Antoine Tesnière est professeur de médecine, spécialisé en anesthésie-réanimation, à l’Hôpital européen Georges Pompidou. Très investi dans les enjeux de Recherche et de Formation, et fort d’une grande expertise internationale, il a été successivement Président du conseil de pédagogie de la faculté de médecine de Paris Descartes et vice-Président de l’université de Paris. Animé de longue date par un intérêt marqué pour l’innovation et le numérique, il a cofondé et dirigé iLumens, département innovant de simulation en santé de l’université de Paris. À partir de 2016, il s’est ensuite engagé dans les politiques publiques. D’abord conseiller santé et scientifique au ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche, il a ensuite rejoint dès mars 2020 le cabinet du ministre de la Santé et a été nommé parallèlement directeur adjoint du centre interministériel de crise auprès du Premier ministre afin de coordonner la lutte contre le Covid-19. Depuis le Avril 2021, il a été nommé directeur de PariSanté Campus sur proposition des ministres de l’Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de l’Innovation, et des Solidarités et de la Santé.
